Ask an athlete at the top of their game and they'll tell you. "Every little bit counts." Many athletes (as well the majority of the general population) fails to address their nutrition as one of the powerful avenues not only to performance but to LIFE. When it comes to performing optimally, this edge can be the difference between excelling and gassing out- or that push you need late in the game to pull out the win. When it comes to specific goals like making weight and maximizing strength and power, we'd refer to nutrition and fueling more like the platform, rather than the "edge".
